Bio

Marc C. Santos is a professor of English specializing in the History of Rhetoric. Marc's research foci include classical and contemporary rhetorical theory and practice, postmodern and psychoanalytic philosophy and theory, and new media pedagogy and praxis. He is particularly interested in how contemporary digital networks move us away from an overwhelming preoccupation with epistemology (knowledge making) and toward a more complex appreciation for ethics (human difference).

In addition to traditional research, Marc spends his time as the webmaster for several not-for-profit organizations, including the North American Levinas Society.
