For the 2009-2010 school year, the department will have available limited funds
of up to $200 per student for travel expenses related to academic conferences. Students
must be presenting a paper or chairing a session to be eligible. To apply
for department funds, you’ll need to first apply for funds through the GPSC at http://www.gpsc.usf.edu/money.html
(please note that funds from GPSC will only be allotted to students presenting
papers). Once you have applied for travel funds through the GPSC, you must present
your proof of application for GPSC funds along with a department travel authorization
request (available under "Forms" above) to Jerry Medlen (CPR 358-K). Be sure to
apply for travel funds well in advance of your travel, as pre-approval paperwork
must be completed.
