Successful advising is a collaboration between the student and the advisor. Advisors work with each and every student to explore his or her goals, aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses and to ensure an individualized academic plan. Students who actively participate in the advising process will not only have a better understanding of the university’s goals, mission, policies, and procedures, but they will also develop a life-long commitment to learning and community involvement.

Academic advising is through appointment only, Monday through Friday, in the main English department suite on the third floor of Cooper Hall, room 358. To schedule an appointment, please use the following link: http://usfweb3.usf.edu/appointments/StudentSignon.asp
